Three reasons why Tufts Film Series wants you to see this film:
1. Unlike most voice actors, John Goodman (Sulley) and Billy Crystal (Mike), recorded their lines in the same studio at the same time.
2. It took 11 to 12 hours to render a single frame of the character Sulley.
3. Billy Crystal was originally given the opportunity to voice “Woody” from Toy Story. However, since Tom Hanks took that job, Billy was instead offered the opportunity to voice Mike in Monsters, Inc.

Tufts Film Series has been showing movies to the Tufts community since 1982. We're Tufts undergraduates who choose, manage and project 35mm films. We train other students how to operate theater-grade equipment! With co-sponsorship, we also host free movie events all across campus.
