Student tickets are available at the Brattle Theatre for $7.50. You get to see everything from the classic to the modern (just like us!). They almost always have something thought provoking on.

You can check out their schedule here.

We ♥ the Brattle! Another not-for-profit theater trying to build your film street cred.
And their house very similar to how we do at TFS. One love!

Tip Numero Dos.

Somerville Theater has $5 movies from Mon – Fri before 6pm. Oh you know you’ve been bored during the week, and yeah its playing that movie you’ve always wanted to see. During the weekdays they also have student discounts. In any theatre: Always ask ;)

Loews Vouchers

leows boston common

Just to let all you movie buffs in on a little Tufts secret:  the info booth on the upper level of the campus center sells Loews/AMC movie vouchers that are redeemable at the theatres in Harvard Square and Boston Common.  You just buy one (or ten, or however many you want) for $8 a pop with cash or JumboCash at the booth, and you’ve saved two or three dollars at the actual theatre! EDIT: Remember that for a limited time, certain time periods during Thursday, showings for college students are $7.50!
